Often, what’s showing up now has roots in the past. Together, we’ll explore what’s shaped you, where you are now, and the future you want to move towards – so things can begin to feel lighter and more joyful.

Past

We gently explore where your patterns began, what you learnt about yourself, and how old experiences may still be shaping the way you feel, think and respond today.

Present

We look at what’s happening now. The triggers, overwhelm, self-doubt, relationship patterns, inner criticism, people-pleasing, shutdowns and protective responses that keep showing up.

Future

Together, we work on a future plan to help you step into the life you want, with more choice, clarity and joy.

This isn’t about going over the same story again and again without anything changing.

Using Internal Family Systems Therapy, also known as IFS, we begin to understand the different parts of you that have learnt to cope, protect, manage, please, withdraw, perform, overthink, or carry far more than they were ever meant to.

These parts are not bad. They are not broken. And they are not the enemy. They are usually trying to protect something younger, more vulnerable, or more wounded within you.

When we meet these parts with compassion rather than criticism, things can start to soften. You begin to understand why you do what you do. You can stop fighting yourself. And the parts of you that have been working so hard can begin to relax.

Alongside this, transformational coaching helps you move forward with more awareness, confidence and self-trust.

So you are not just understanding the past.
You are learning how to live differently now.

1:1 Therapy & Coaching

A calm, supportive space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface, at your pace. We can start to look at the patterns, feelings and parts of you that keep showing up, so you can begin to understand yourself with more compassion.

Internal Family Systems Therapy

IFS helps you understand the different parts of yourself. The part that people-pleases. The part that overthinks. The part that shuts down. The part that keeps everything together. The part that still feels hurt, scared or not enough.

Transformational Coaching

For when you’re ready to create change in your life with more clarity, confidence and self-trust. Coaching can help you explore what you want, what’s getting in the way, and how to move forward in a way that feels true to you.

How sessions work

Online

Comfortable, convenient and just as personal. You can join from wherever you feel safe and settled.

In person

Sessions are held in my private and comfortable garden office at my home in Congleton Cheshire, or a local therapy room.

Hi I’m Becky

I didn’t come to this work because I had life neatly figured out
I came to it because, for a long time, I didn’t.

From the outside, I looked like I was doing alright. I built a career in communications, became good with words, people, stories and connection, and learnt how to read a room almost without thinking.

But underneath, there was another story running.

I never quite felt settled in myself. I felt different, but couldn’t explain why. I could be funny, capable, sociable and “fine”, then go home feeling exhausted from holding so much inside.

For years, I thought that was just who I was. An overthinker. A people-pleaser. A deep feeler. A fixer. Someone who found it hard to rest. Someone who could feel everyone else’s feelings before her own.
